The Smalstranda ( Norwegian for narrow beach ) is a 700 m long and very narrow sandy beach on the Morgenstierne coast in the north of the sub-Antarctic Bouvet Island in the South Atlantic . It is located west of Cape Valdivia .
Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named him in 1981.
