Ichizō Nakata ( Japanese 中 田 一 三 , Nakata Ichizō ; born April 19, 1973 in Mie Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player and coach.

Career

Nakata learned to play soccer on the school team at Yokkaichi Chuo Technical High School . He signed his first contract with Yokohama Flügels in 1992 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 1993 he won the Kaiser Cup with the club . For the club, he completed 27 first division games. In 1996 he moved to league rivals Avispa Fukuoka . For the club he completed 34 first division games. In 199 he moved to the second division Oita Trinity (today: Oita Trinita). In October 1998 he moved to the first division team JEF United Ichihara . For the club, he completed 52 first division games. In 2001 he moved to the second division club Ōita Trinita, 2002 to the first division club Vegalta Sendai , and in 2004 to the second division Ventforet Kofu . In July 2004 he ended his career as a football player.
