history

The company was founded in 2005 u. a. founded by Brent Frei. Free his own business selling before the founding of Onyx Software Corp . Then, a year later, Smartsheet Inc. raised its first $ 4 million. At the time, the company only had nine employees.

After Smartsheet Inc. repainted the software, sales grew nearly 100% for four consecutive years. Then in December 2012, Smartsheet Inc. raised an additional $ 26 million in the fourth round of funding. This was followed by the next funding in 2014. This time for $ 35 million. Just three years later, Smartsheet Inc. raised more than $ 52 million. In 2018, Smartsheet Inc. bought the Scottish company Converse.Al, which develops software for the automation of work processes.
