Smitten is an Austrian rock band from Graz. In 2005 she took part in the band competition Ö3 Soundcheck , but failed in the final. Nevertheless, she was able to sign a record deal with EMI Music Austria . Along with Shiver , Cinderella and Rising Girl , she is one of the few bands in the first competition that was subsequently able to achieve a chart placement. In spring 2005 the band dedicated the song Every Day to the employment service .
