Smoke Trees (* in Halle as Nils Prenz ) is a music producer living in Stuttgart .

Life

Smoke Trees started producing their own music in 2002. At first he produced the beats for freestyle rap sessions played monthly on Radio Corax . In 2006 he moved to Stuttgart for professional reasons and paused music production for ten years. Instead, he went about his job as a graphic designer. During this time he also worked as a freelance illustrator and gained attention in the illustrator scene under the pseudonym "Neoprenz". His first album Into The Deep ( Urban Waves Records ), released on vinyl in spring 2017, and his second vinyl KOOP ( Melting Pot Music ), however, were so great that he has been working full-time as a freelance music producer since 2018 and regularly releases new records .
