Smultron is a text editor for Mac OS X . Various programming languages are supported, for which Smultron also has syntax highlighting . Smultron was developed by Peter Borg. Smultron is the Swedish word for forest strawberry , which also adorns the program's logo.
Up to version 3.5 the program is available as freeware for free download, since the successor Smultron 4, the current version by Peter Borg has been sold via the App Store . Since July 2012, it is also available as iPhone - and iPad - App available.
