Snake rattle 'n' roll

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Snake Rattle 'n' Roll is a video game developed by Rare and published by Nintendo on the Nintendo Entertainment System . The title deserves special attention because it was one of the few that was equipped with a 3-dimensional isometric perspective.

The game characters that you control through the game are two snakes, Rattle and Roll . In the course of the game you have to devour creatures, so-called nibbley pibbleys, which make the snake longer and heavier. At the end of each level, a switch must be operated, which can only be triggered with the necessary weight.

The game is considered to be one of the hardest and most challenging games for the NES. The planned successor Snakes in Space was never published due to poor sales. Nevertheless a successor to the Game Boy , Sneaky Snakes , appeared a few years later ( 1991 ) . This same game was then implemented for the Sega Mega Drive in 1993 .
