The Snow Hill Covered Bridge (also Johnson Fork Covered Bridge called) is a historic, covered road bridge in Franklin County in the US state of Indiana , in the United States . The bridge is on Snow Hill Road and spans Johnson Fork . An average of 203 vehicles cross the bridge every day (as of 2006).
The wooden cladding completed in 1894 has a total span of 13.68 meters, the length is 25.6 meters, the inner width is 4.38 meters and the height is 4.08 meters. The foundation is made of limestone , the walls are made of wood and the roof is mainly made of asphalt . Another building material is concrete . The builders were William Butts and John Horn .
The Snow Hill Covered Bridge was renovated in 1987 and 2010 and was listed as a historic monument on March 3, 1995 by the National Register of Historic Places with the number 95000208.
