Gmina Gryfino, Sobiemyśl is located on the south-eastern edge

Sobiemyśl ( German  Frankenberg ) is a village in the Gmina Gryfino in the powiat Gryfiński (Greifenhagen district) in the southwest of the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship in northwest Poland, near the German border.

Before 1945 the area belonged to Germany. After the Second World War , the region was placed under Polish administration and, according to the Potsdam Agreement, the indigenous German population was expelled and replaced by Poles who were expelled from the areas of Poland annexed by the Soviet Union. On March 15, 1991, the two-plus-four treaty came into force with which Sobiemyśl's factual affiliation to Poland was also confirmed under international law.

The Droga ekspresowa S3 (German: expressway S3) runs to the east of Sobiemyśl .
