Soccx was a five-member girl group from the United States that was produced in Germany. She became known in the summer of 2006 through the first German mobile phone soap in the middle - Berlin rocks! , for which Soccx provided the title song.

history

The five girls met at the Alley Cat dance studio in West Hollywood . In 2005 they founded a joint music project called SoSicks . With covered songs and their own dance programs, they performed in numerous clubs on the US west coast. Attempts to get a record deal through demo recordings and singing competitions were initially unsuccessful.

It was not until 2006 that German music producers became aware of the five girls and signed them for Edel Records . After moving to Berlin was made in collaboration with the Swedish producer David Clewett the party song From Dusk Till Dawn (Get The Party Started) , of the trailer song for the mobile phone Soap middle - Berlin rocks! could be placed. The single was released on October 6, 2006 and made it into the top ten of the German singles hit parade. The second single Scream Out Loud also made it to number ten.

On January 12, 2007, the single Scream Out Loud was released in Germany, in 2008 also in Belgium, Russia, France and Switzerland. The album Hold On was released in late 2007 in Germany, Switzerland, Poland, France, Belgium and Russia. The third single Can't take my eyes off you was released in November 2007 in Germany.

There were several appearances and tours in Europe, especially in Germany.

A breakup of the band has not yet been publicly confirmed, but by 2008 all members except Caity Lotz had confirmed their exit.

Later projects of the members

In early 2008, Noreen Juliano and Dominique Domingo joined the American girl band The Beach Girlz , who made backing vocals for Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez , and released their own album. In 2013 they released a single with the girl group YLA .

Caity Lotz has several film roles, especially as of 2010. The other members also sometimes have small appearances in films and television series. Nicole Isaacs appeared on the TV series Now What? up, Noreen Juliano in Keeping Up with the Kardashians .

Nicole Isaacs worked as a producer for E! Entertainment Television for the Fashion Police series . She initially appears as a food blogger under the name Miss Jetsetter and since 2016 under her own name as an influencer for travel destinations, cosmetics and photography.
