Sofienquelle

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Sofienquelle (Sofiakällan) is a healing water spring in the southern Swedish city of Helsingborg . The well was set up in 1890 at a depth of 83 meters after successful drilling near the older Hälsanquelle . The composition of the water is similar to that of the Elisabeth spring in Bad Kreuznach and that of the mineral water fountain in Bad Homburg vor der Höhe and Bad Kissingen . At the beginning of the 20th century, a spa was set up around the Sofien and Hälsa springs .
