The Softship AG is a provider of administrative software and IT services in the transport and logistics industry with a focus on maritime and belongs to the Australian WiseTech global group.

The main products are IT solutions for shipping companies , agents, feeder and shortsea services, NVOCC and surveyors / depots. In addition, individual projects are also carried out in other branches of the economy such as the music industry.

In 1989 the company was founded as a GmbH in Hamburg. The conversion of the GmbH into an initially private stock corporation took place in the year 2000. In June 2001 the company became a listed AG in the regulated market of the Frankfurt stock exchange .

As of June 30, 2017, the share capital was divided into around 1.9 million no-par value bearer shares . The shares were traded over the counter until November 2017 (until March 1, 2017 with inclusion in the Frankfurt Entry Standard ).

In addition to the headquarters in Hamburg, the company has branches in Manila , Miami and Singapore . Softship Singapore and Softship America, Inc., are 100% subsidiaries of Softship AG. Softship Singapore is managed locally as the legal form Pte Ltd, which roughly corresponds to the German GmbH.

The board consists of two members, Detlef Müller, board member for finance and production, and Thomas Wolff, board member for sales and production.

The Supervisory Board consists of Heiko Nocke (Chairman of the Supervisory Board), Klaus Brenken and Werner Tholl.
