Gaius Iulius Sohaemus († after 72) was the last known prince of Emesa and king of Sophene .

Sohaemus was the younger son of Prince Sampsigeramos II of Emesa. In 54 he succeeded his brother Azizus in ruling the principality on the Orontes . In addition, the Roman emperor Nero appointed him king of Sophene, who had previously been part of Armenia and apparently became again around 60.
