The Finsterwalde solar park is a photovoltaic power plant that went into operation in 2010 and 2011 near Finsterwalde ( Brandenburg ). The electrical peak power is given as 80.7 MW p . The project was technically implemented by the photovoltaic companies LDK Solar ( China ) and Q-Cells ( Germany ). The location is the former open- cast lignite mine in Kleinleipisch.
The solar power plant is divided into three independent fields, whereby Finsterwalde I is specified with an electrical output of 41 MW p . The real energy fed into the grid annually is estimated at 38 GWh , which corresponds to an average output of 4.3 MW.
The two remaining fields, Finsterwalde II and III, with a total of 40 MW p , went online in 2011. The entire park thus covers an area of 198 hectares. The solar power is remunerated here with 0.3194 EUR / kWh. The feed-in tariff is set at this level for 20 years.
Q-Cells has the I finsterwalde solar park in January 2011 to subsidiaries of LHI Leasing ( Pullach sold), a subsidiary of Landesbank Baden-Württemberg and the Nord / LB . Finsterwalde II and III sold Q-Cells to Blue Forrest Solar Holding, a joint venture between DIF Infrastructure II (DIF) and the NIBC European Infrastructure Fund (NIBC).
