The Lerchenborg solar park is an open-air photovoltaic system in Denmark that went into operation in December 2015. The solar park is located west of Copenhagen in the immediate vicinity of the Baltic Sea and was considered the largest solar park in Scandinavia when it was commissioned .
The system has an output of 61 MWp and covers an area of approx. 80 hectares. In total, almost 250,000 solar modules from Astronergy and around 1,750 inverters from SMA Solar Technology were installed over a period of 5 months . The annual standard energy capacity is a good 61 million kWh.
