The Schlechtenberg solar park is an open-air photovoltaic system in Schlechtenberg near Sulzberg , which extends over a length of around 1.2 km and a width of 100 m. It has 33,000 photovoltaic modules from Hanwha SolarOne with a nominal output under standard test conditions of 8.2 MW p and a planned feed-in of 9.84 GWh . This corresponds to a planned average output of 1.12 MW.
When it opened in September 2013, it was the largest solar park in Germany south of Würzburg and the largest in the Allgäu .
