Solid State Logic
Solid State Logic , also known under the acronym SSL , is a manufacturer of high quality audio mixing consoles . The company is based in Begbroke , England . The company was founded in 1969 and initially dealt with transistorized control of church organs . At the end of the 1970s, the SL4000 mixer was created, which, thanks to its then unique features such as volume automation, "Total Recall" (computer-aided restoration of all settings) and integrated compressors , but also its high sound quality, became an industry standard and is still available today in numerous high-end versions -Studios is on duty. The organ technology department was sold in 2002 and now operates under the name Solid State Organ Systems (SSO). In 2005 , SSL was taken over by Peter Gabriel and Dave Engelke . The company is to be continued independently.
