Solidaridad Española
The Solidaridad Española was a right-wing Spanish party that the former lieutenant colonel of the Civil Guard , Antonio Tejero was founded. The party ran for Congress and the Senate in the Spanish parliamentary elections in 1982 , which took place a year and a half after Tejero's failed coup attempt . The party's goal was to secure a mandate for Tejero that would have given him parliamentary immunity . The trial before a military court against Tejero because of his attempted coup could not have continued.
The party's election campaign used the peculiar slogan "Enter Parliament with Tejero!" The party ran in some constituencies and received 28,451 votes, or 0.14%. Neither in Congress nor in the Senate did the party win a mandate. After the election, the party disbanded.
