Solstreif Iceland is an island off the Danco Coast of Graham lands north of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is the southernmost island in a small group of islands on the east side of Foyn Harbor in Wilhelmina Bay .
The island was probably named by whalers who operated in the area. It is named after the Norwegian factory ship Solstreif , which was anchored here between 1921 and 1922.
