Sommersberg is a residential area in the municipality of Wachtberg in the Rhein-Sieg district in North Rhine-Westphalia . It is located between Arzdorf and Fritzdorf in a number of other partly former courtyards and weir systems between Villip and Fritzdorf.

As far as is known, the Sommersberger Hof was first mentioned in 1434. The Metternich zu Sommersberg had a manor here in the 15th century . In 1690 the farm was destroyed. Remnants of the plant are still preserved. In the 18th and 19th centuries, the new buildings were partly built on the old foundation walls.

The Sommersberger Hof is both a protected ground and architectural monument . It is located on the Wasserburg-Route , a cycle path.

Sommersberg is shown on a Tranchot map from 1808. The place was assigned to Fritzdorf , which had belonged to Mairie Adendorf and its subsequent administrative units since 1798 .
