The Blades Glacier is a glacier in Marie Byrd Land, West Antarctica . It flows from a snow-covered saddle immediately north of La Gorce Peak in the Alexandra Mountains in an easterly direction to the Dalton Glacier on the north side of the Edward VII Peninsula .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it using its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1959 to 1965. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1970 after William Robert Blades (1923–1970), navigator for Operation Highjump (1946 –1947) and the first four campaigns of Operation Deep Freeze (1955–1959).
