The Dalton Glacier is a sweeping glacier in Marie Byrd Land, West Antarctica . It flows on the west side of the Alexandra Mountains in a northerly direction to the Butler Glacier , which it reaches south of Sulzberger Bay .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1959 to 1965. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it after the Irish medical officer Brian C. Dalton (* 1931) of the US Navy, commanding officer on Byrd Station in 1957.
