Song Shi-Lun (* 1899 in the Chinese province of Hunan , † September 17, 1991 in Shanghai ) was the commander in chief of the Chinese armed forces in the battle of the Changjin reservoir during the Korean War . He received his training from the Whampoa Military Academy . General Song Shi-Lun was a participant in the Long March .
