Sonia Cox
Sonia Cox (* 1936 ; † 2001 ) was a New Zealand badminton player .
Career
Sonia Cox set the national level in New Zealand women's badminton for a decade. From 1953 to 1960 she won 14 national titles. In 1961 she won the German Open in women's doubles with Judy Hashman and came second in the women's singles. At the All England she was twice in the semi-finals in the late 1960s. She lived in England until the 1980s. She died in New Zealand in 2001.
