Heather Robson
Heather Robson (born May 6, 1928 , born Heather Redwood , † October 11, 2019 ) was a New Zealand badminton player . Jeffrey Robson is her husband.
Career
Heather Robson is one of the foremost personalities in New Zealand's badminton sport. As an active player, she won 17 national titles. Before that, she had also been successful in tennis as a junior. As a functionary, she was, among other things, President of the New Zealand Badminton Association and the President of the Auckland Tennis Association. The Robson Shield team competition of the Badminton Oceania Championship goes back to the Robson couple .
