Sonja Hausladen (born July 5, 1963 in Vienna ) is a former Austrian swimmer . She swam in the 1970s and 1980s for the Vienna Workers' Swimming Association ( ASV Vienna ).
successes
Sonja Hausladen celebrated her greatest successes in the years 1977 to 1986, when she swam top Austrian performances in many short and long course competitions. She held several national records for several years and was a multiple national champion. Until (at least) December 2009 she is still in the top 15 of the Austrian all-time best lists in her disciplines.
In 1980 and 1984 she took part in the Olympic swimming competitions as the fourth of the ASV Vienna athletes and the seventh ASV Vienna athletes (women and men). At the age of only 17, she entered the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow as the only participant from ASV Vienna and the first ever ASV Vienna participant in the swimming competition. At the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles , she was one of three ASV Vienna applicants (women only).
In 1989 she was a member of the women's water polo team of ASV Vienna, founded in 1988.

Honors
As part of the 100th anniversary of the ASV Vienna in September 2009, she was honored as one of the eleven of the fourteen Olympic participants in the swimming club that were present.
