Ingeborg Gleichauf (born as Ingeborg Vollmer , July 20, 1953 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a German writer .

Life

Ingeborg Vollmer grew up in Neustadt in the Black Forest and moved to Freiburg after graduating from high school in 1972. There she studied German and philosophy for teaching. She received her doctorate in 1994 from the University of Freiburg on Ingeborg Bachmann .

Her book on Simone de Beauvoir won the Vienna Young Critics Prize. She has published biographies about Hannah Arendt and Gudrun Ensslin and writes for literaturkritik.de .

Gleichauf is married, has three children and lives in Freiburg.
