Sonja Ramskogler

Sonja Ramskogler (born February 7, 1969 in Vienna ) is an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ). From 2001 to 2015 she was a member of the State Parliament and a member of the Vienna City Council .

education and profession

Sonja Ramskogler attended a HBLA, which she graduated with the Matura in 1990. She then studied psychology at the University of Vienna and graduated in 1998. Ramskogler has been a psychotherapist with her own practice in Vienna- Hietzing and St. Peter in der Au since 2006 .

politics

Sonja Ramskogler worked in the Young Generation of Lower Austria from 1985 and was a board member of the Association of Socialist Students (VSStÖ) Vienna from 1991 . From 1993 to 1996 Ramskogler was the Federal Secretary of the VSStÖ, and from 1993 to 1997 she was also a member of the Central Committee of the Austrian Students' Union.

Ramskogler has been a co-opted member of the SPÖ Federal Women's Committee since 1993 and is heavily involved in the young generation (JG). She has been a member of the board since 1996 and was Deputy Chairwoman of the Vienna Youth Association from 1998. Since 1998 she has been Chairwoman of the Youth Association at Ottakring and Deputy Federal Chairwoman of the Youth Association. She was co-opted into the SPÖ's Vienna Women's Committee in 1999 and is a board member of the Ottakring district. From 2000 to 2004 she was also a member of the federal party executive. From 2003 to 2007 she chaired the Young Generation Vienna.

Sonja Ramskogler was a member of the Vienna State Parliament and Municipal Council from 2001 to 2015 and represented the SPÖ in the 18th legislative period in the “Health and Social Affairs” committee. In particular, she was committed to mental health in Vienna; one project was called "lust for life instead of depression".
