Sophie Narr (* 1980 in Berlin ) is a German film director and screenwriter .

Life

Sophie Narr (* 1980) grew up in Berlin . After graduating from high school, she learned the profession of film and video editor and worked for various television productions. In 2002 she studied at the Australian Film Television and Radio School in Sydney , before starting her scriptwriting / dramaturgy studies at the University of Film and Television Potsdam in 2003 . Sophie Narr was awarded the Hans W. Geissendörfer Young Talent Award 2007 for the film Platz im Schatten . Die Das is her graduation film. In 2009 Sophie Narr received a scholarship from the Akademie der Künste (Berlin) in the film and video art section.
