The German Plant Variety Protection Act ( SortSchG ) regulates the requirements and content of plant variety protection ( Section 1 ). The tasks and responsibilities of the Federal Plant Variety Office are also defined ( Section 2 ). The exact procedure for obtaining and maintaining plant variety protection for a variety and possible changes are also clearly written down ( Section 3 ). Under section 4 , the methods be controlled trial and section 5 is deals with violations. Section 6 contains the final provisions.
