Sot Chitalada

Sot Chitalada (* 5. May 1962 in Chon Buri , Thailand ) is a former Thai boxer in the flyweight .

Professional career

On October 8, 1984, already in his 8th fight, he boxed against Gabriel Bernal for the WBC World Championship and won by a split judge's decision. He defended this belt a total of six times and lost it on July 24, 1988 to Yong-Kang Kim on points.

In June of the following year, he captured the title again when he beat Kim on points in a rematch. This time he defended the title four times and lost it in February 1991 to Muangchai Kittikasem by technical knockout in the 6th round.
