Sochi Symphony Orchestra

The Sochi Symphony Orchestra ( Russian Сочинский симфонический оркестр / Sotschinski symfonitscheski orkestr ) are a symphony orchestra of the city of Sochi in Russia .

history

The orchestra was founded in 1991 as a chamber orchestra , and in 2001 it was given the status of a symphony orchestra. Its current music director is Oleg Soldatov . The orchestra performs regularly in Sochi and other Russian cities. It also performed with internationally known musicians, including Johanna Beisteiner , Tigran Alichanow and Denis Mazujew .
