Soulcage is a Finnish progressive metal band.

history

The band was founded in Helsinki in 1999 . In 2004 the first demo With the Time I Run followed . She is under contract with the Finnish independent label Hellas Records and released her debut album Dead Water Diary there in 2006 . The second album Soul for Sale followed in April 2009 . The pre-released single My Canvas, My Skin reached number 10 on the Finnish singles chart.

Singer Aleksi Parviainen is also a vocal coach (among others for Ari Koivunen ) and also works as a background singer for numerous Finnish bands such as Stratovarius , Kiuas and Ensiferum . He has also arranged both albums for the Northern Kings .

Soul for Sale was released on April 8, 2009 in Finland. The album was released on May 8, 2009 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
