South Wales in Wales

South Wales ( English South Wales , Welsh De Cymru ) is a region in Wales that is bordered to the south and east by the Bristol Channel , to the west and north by the rest of Wales.

South Wales includes the towns of Swansea and Cardiff in Glamorgan , Newport in Monmouthshire, the Brecon Beacons National Park and the county of Monmouthshire . The Australian state of New South Wales is named after this area. It is structurally weak to this day, even if some places show above-average economic growth.
