Sovetsky Sport (German for "Soviet Sport", Russian Советский спорт ) is a Russian-speaking, appearing daily sports newspaper , in Moscow issued is. It first appeared on July 20, 1924 under the title " Красный спорт " (Eng .: "Red Sport"), it received its current title in 1946. Its title was retained even after the collapse of the Soviet Union .

The newspaper appears in the Komsomolskaya Pravda publishing house , which also publishes the daily newspaper of the same name . Associate editor is the Russian Olympic Committee .
