Soziale Passagen is a German-language journal for empiricism and theory of social work as well as a scientific publication site for discipline and profession-related discourses. The magazine is published twice a year by Springer VS , Wiesbaden.

Profile and structure

The novel journal project offers discourses related to disciplines and professions on issues relating to the realignment of the social an exclusive place of publication. Social Passages want to promote disciplinary border crossings and represent the breadth of socio-educational theoretical debates and empirical research. Social passages are aimed at employees and students at universities, technical colleges and institutes as well as scientifically oriented managers and specialists in the practice of social work.

The journal is an interactive and scientific project that faces the challenges provoked by social changes and offers a discursive space for empirically founded and theoretically elaborated reflections.
