Giant tomb of Preda Longa 'e figu
The giant tomb of Preda Longa 'e figu is about 2.0 km from Borore in the province of Oristano in Sardinia . The buildings called “Tumbas de sos zigantes” in Sardu and “Tombe dei Giganti” in Italian (plur.) Are the largest pre- Nuragic cults in Sardinia and are among the latest megalithic structures in Europe . The 321 known giant tombs are monuments of the Bronze Age Bonnanaro culture (approx. 2200–1600 BC), the precursor culture of the Nuragic culture .

Structurally, giant tombs appear in two variants. The systems with portal steles and exedra belong to the older northern Sardinian type. In later systems, the exedra consists of a rectangular facade made of processed and layered stone blocks, instead of monolithic steles . The giant grave of Preda Longa 'e figu is an older type (with a portal stele).

The giant grave consists of the remains of the chamber, part of the exedra and the portal stele that is split vertically in the middle. The upper side half is missing, the rest shows a certain pomp, reaches a height of 3.78 m and is 1.9 m wide. It is divided into two in the usual way by a cross relief. In the middle below is the also split trapezoidal entrance (height 0.5 m, width 0.52 to 0.49 m). The right of the portal Tele is the only one still in situ located Orthostat the Exedra, which has the distinction of being well-edited on the left side and delimited. The chamber contains some plates in their original position, including the end plate.
A dry stone wall was erected nearby, which is believed to have damaged the structure of the complex.
