Sociological advice

Sociological advice advises companies, organizations or state institutions on solving a social problem. She makes customers familiar with the structure of a social context. Sociological advice links social science knowledge with practice in business and society. The professional association of German sociologists in particular has committed itself to providing sociological advice.

General current diagnoses and questions about the future are just as much a focus of her work as questions about organization and communication in society .

history

Even the founder of sociology , Auguste Comte , saw himself as a consultant. Specifically, however, it is a form of advice that has become known since the 1990s, particularly through organizational advice.
