Sociological Review

The Sociological Revue is a scientific journal in which recent German-language sociological publications, including methodology, are reviewed . It was founded in 1978 by Heinz Hartmann based on the example of the US Sociological Review and appears four times a year.

By the end of 2012, the journal was published by Oldenbourg Wissenschaftsverlag ( ISSN  0343-4109 ) with a print run of 2,400 copies, at the beginning of 2013 De Gruyter took over Oldenbourg Verlag and has been editor since then.
