Spårvägens HF

Spårvägens HF is a Swedish handball club from Stockholm .

Men's handball has been played in the club since 1940, and women's handball shortly afterwards. In the last few decades only women's handball has been offered. The club belonged from 1984 to 1997 and from 1998 to 2016 to the highest Swedish league, the Elitserien .

In the marathon tables , an all-time best table, the club occupies 6th place (as of 2008).

Seventeen players also played in the Swedish national handball team : Terese Krantz , Malin Hörnell , Patricia Löfberg , Anna-Lena Pihl , Helena Andersson , Christina Ström , Rose-Marie Myhr (Nilsson), Cecilia Ågren , Malin Därth (Karlsson), Camilla Eriksson , Gun Meskanen , Christina Pettersson-Hellgren , Maria Bresell , Mia Hodin , Emma Ekenman-Fernis , Matilda Boson and Filippa Idéhn . Five of the women have more than 100 international matches : Matilda Boson (208), Christina Pettersson-Hellgren (115), Cecilia Ågren (114), Anna-Lena Pihl (113) and Filippa Idéhn (105).
