SpaceShipThree

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

SpaceShipThree is the potential name of a future spaceship from Scaled Composites and Virgin Galactic . According to original plans from 2005, SpaceShipThree should be developed for orbital space flights after the success of SpaceShipTwo.

In 2008, plans were announced that SpaceShipThree would be used for suborbital point-to-point flights around the earth. This could shorten the duration of current long-haul flights considerably.
