Spam Island is a small island that belongs to the Phoenix Islands in the Republic of Kiribati .

geography

Spam Island is by far the smaller of the two motus of the Canton atoll and is only separated from the main island of Canton by the North Channel and the South Channel . The small island is slightly offset towards the interior of the lagoon and has an approximately triangular floor plan.
