The Spanish Point ( English , Bulgarian нос Еспаньола nos espanjola ) is a rock cape on the coast of the South Bay and 2 km south of Aleko rock in the south of the South Shetland Islands belonging Livingston Island .
The naming of the cape made by the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee took place in 1994 at the request of the participants of the Second Bulgarian Antarctic Expedition (1993-1994), who wanted to remember the support of the expedition from Spain .
