The Sparkasse Wiesendangen was a Swiss regional bank anchored in Wiesendangen . It was founded in 1903 as a community bank. As one of the few Swiss regional banks and savings banks, it was organized in the form of a public institution . The annual accounts were approved by the municipal assembly, and the voters of Wiesendangen voted for the members of the board of directors at the ballot box.
The field of activity of Sparkasse Wiesendangen has traditionally been in retail banking , mortgage lending , investment advice and banking with small and medium-sized companies . The bank last employed 7 people and at the end of 2009 had total assets of 162 million Swiss francs.
The Sparkasse Wiesendangen was affiliated to the RBA Holding as an independent regional bank . Within the RBA group it belonged to the sub- grouping of the Clientis banks . At the end of 2009 she left the RBA and Clientis.
With a contract dated April 16, 2013, the Sparkasse transferred its banking business to Acrevis Bank in St. Gallen . The municipal council of Wiesendangen approved the contract on June 9, 2013. Since then, the public institution has been in liquidation . The liquidation proceeds will go to the Wiesendangen community.
