Spasskoje-Lutowinowo ( Russian Спасское-Лутовиново ) was the estate of the mother of the Russian writer Ivan Turgenev , on which he spent the first ten years of his life and which he later often visited, even for long periods of time. It is located about ten kilometers north of the city of Mtsensk in the Oryol Oblast . The mansion was built between 1778 and 1809. After a fire in May 1839 destroyed the house, it was rebuilt and later restored several times.

In the mansion there is a museum opened in 1922 with a permanent exhibition on Ivan Turgenev.

The actual house is located in a large park that houses a lake with boat rentals and a Russian Orthodox church. The entire complex is often the destination of excursions to nearby schools.
