Speedy is a German rock band from Heidelberg , which was mainly known as a teeny band in the early 1980s.
history
The band was founded in 1980 by the students Jürgen Dittler, Oliver Maier, Hilmar Moser and Ralf Kurz. In the same year the four students found support from the musician and photographer Didi Zill , who in the same year produced the first single, a cover version of the song Glad All Over by The Dave Clark Five . The group appeared several times on the music show Disco in 1980 and 1981 . On the screen, Speedy was seen in the Wörthersee comedy Tender but cheeky like Oskar with her song Willy Is Back .
