The Speiereck is a 2411  m above sea level. A. high mountain in the Radstädter Tauern in Salzburg's Lungau . It forms the southern end of the Hochfeindkamm.

In the summer months the mountain is a popular destination for nature lovers and hikers. A cable car (Sonnenbahn) leads from Sankt Michael im Lungau to the Peterbauernalmstube ( 1910  m ). On the east side of the Großeck is the Speiereckhütte of the Austrian Tourist Club at an altitude of around 2066  m .

In winter, the Großeck - Speiereck - Mauterndorf ski area offers 2 cable cars, 4 chair lifts and 4 drag lifts with over 50 km of slopes of various difficulties.
