IC 4621 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sab in the constellation Hercules at the northern sky . It is an estimated 427 million light years from the Milky Way and about 115,000 light years in diameter.

The object was discovered by Hermann Kobold on May 15, 1890 .
