IC 4614 is a lens-shaped galaxy with an active nucleus of the Hubble type S0 / a in the constellation Hercules. It is an estimated 446 million light years from the Milky Way and about 100,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 6196 , NGC 6197 , IC 4615 , IC 4616 .
The object was discovered by Guillaume Bigourdan on June 28, 1895 .
