IC 4620 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBb in the constellation Hercules in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 470 million light years from the Milky Way and about 70,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered by Royal Harwood Frost on July 17, 1903 .
